Journal 7.

This week was productive with 903 but unfortunately with 901 not, my lesson plan number five takes place this week and I carried out 2 classes out of the 3 with 903 but for 901 that lesson plan will work for the rest of my time here, my lesson plan for 903 is going to spent a week and a half while for 901, it going to spent 3 whole weeks due to the Monday’s free.

I realized that I became nervous when I am observed by my practice advisor, I do not why but I do, my cooperator said me relax, you are good at this but I felt as if I am doing everything wrong.

Also this week I carried out my third intervention of my innovation plan, we made a declaration of peace, all of us agree with some statements to have better relationship between all of the students; at the same time I can not continue with the intervention in 901 due to the time, from now to the end, I am going to have just one hour per week. 

Journal 6.

Finally, I can finish with my lesson plan number four, as I have mentioned before so many classes have been lost and I only have for lesson plan until the moment, my time in the school is finishing and I start to feel a little bit sad but at the same time so happy because my students said I am a good teacher and that motivate me to be better.

We are planning the English Day and from nine graders, my cooperator and I decided to make a battle between 901, 902, 903 to see which group performs in a better way the song that we are planning, we hope it's a good idea.  

Journal 5.

During this week I only carried out one class, the other three I can not due to the fact that Monday was free and also my implementation of my innovation plan; by the way the class was good, and they are so motivated in learning vocabulary, they are like sponges and they are observing everything, in fact it makes sense, because soon they are going to present the Media Tecnica test and most of them wants to enter to the program.

My innovation plan, this week was funny, and enjoyable, this intervention was really creative and manual, I brought them some material in order to create the peace corner, they were happy coloring, cutting things, writing and so on. The activity that likes the most was the inside out activity, it consists in taking the emotions of the film and make a kind of chart where they have to put their name depending on the emotion that they are feeling that day. They were really happy, but unfortunately other people stole some pieces of the chart and students get unmotivated because of that.

Journal 4.

Unfortunately, this week this have been a little bit slowly, there are some days were I can not give the lesson for that reasons I have missed a lot of classes but I have to take into account that my innovation plan is something that is useful for them, so, that’s the only think that comforts me.

I am so happy with my innovation plan, it is really satisfying to see how your students likes what they are doing, and even better when they said you “Hey teacher, this activity is so cool” I am really happy realizing that my students are enjoying that little moment; I feel proud because this week I could not perform my innovation plan and my students asked me what had happened, that shows me their interest and fills me with joy

Journal 3.

In this week I have plenty of classes, I don’t miss none of them. This week was very productive, I assigned to my students to do a mini-poster about what people should and shouldn’t do in the environment; unfortunately, I only can do this with 901, because with 903 we do not have the opportunity to carry out that activity due to the fact we have to check some previous activities from the pass classes.

I also carried out my first intervention on my innovation plan with 901 and everything was good, it was a funny class, all of us learned how to do a heart, students relax and go out from the routine for a while; at the end of the intervention all of them get to the conclusion that this type of intervention are really good.

And finally I have been observed for first time, I have to say that I was really nervous at the beginning but the I realized that I was with my students that they are active, intelligent and that they like my classes and I became confidence with myself again; there was something that do not like to my students and it was that when my supervisor arrived, he doesn’t say “good morning” and they felt disrespected, and told me that a professor from a University and doesn’t have a good modal, at the end, I got to calm them

Journal 2.

Unfortunately, during this week, I could only give 5 hours of classes due to there were not classes on Friday, I have been feeling so happy teaching, my students understand me, and have a good rapport with me, I’m so happy with it, when my cooperative teacher told me that there are not classes I got sad.

In the other hand, my students like the activities, they like to participate, and they have the attitude to learn that is the most important thing; although this, there are some behavior that sometimes I feel are bad for them, for example in 901 a student shout another one bad words, and in 903 one got angry just because the girls in his group do not accepted the role he gives to them in the activity of a role play and left the group, although my students are 9^th graders, you have to talk to them as children and explaining why they shouldn’t react in that way, fortunately there is nothing that you can solve by talking in a good way with the people and I have managed the situation correctly.

Journal 1.

In my first week of classes I was so nervous, because if I did it wrong? But not fortunately everything was so good. My students are a little bit complicated, there are two girls that only care about their makeup, when I identify that problem in one of my classes I realized that I have to do something to make them forget about her makeup, so, doing dynamic activities was the solution. By bringing realia to the classroom, giving them the instructions but leaving them to work by their own, and making them feel participants of the whole class is the point. When I faced this I started to know or well I realized that an English class is not about go to your classroom and give your lesson on a specific topic and that’s all, you have to take into account your students, make them part of everything. Since this week I realized that my lesson plans have to be planned taking into account my students and not the topic.
